We want to help new creatives tell stories that need to be told. So many authors are stuck searching for an agent or a publisher that takes their work seriously. The big firm's only care what's commercially viable or trend-hopping.

We started UnderInk to help emerging voices find a place to grow, gain legitimacy, and put great fiction into the world.

The UnderInk team is here for readers of genre fiction and every book nerd out there.

Australian indie genre fiction expert, David leads the charge with our editorial vision - well, when he's not busy writing his next book that is. Author of the Maynard Trigg series, host of The ZeroIndent Review and famous for talking about stories.

James Baker

Obsessive stylist, James writes heady, dark fiction that is so beautiful line by line it's almost not fair. Described once as a practitioner of "prose punk".

Working on his magnum opus when he's not answering your customer service emails. Hates having his photo taken.
